Bang Ja is a servant of an Angyo Onshi. Unlike sando, there is no special requirements to become a bang ja. While serving his master is his duty, they may also fight to protect the Angyo Onshi or assist them in fight, similar to sando, but in a lesser degree. In Shin Angyo Onshi, there are only two bang ja, Munsu's unnamed bang ja and Eulpaso.
